My name is Corey Schmidt. I own a sawmill in north western middle Tennessee in a little town called Tn.Rigde. Its a small circle mill. We cut all hardwoods and cedar. Thicknesses are 4/4,5/4,6/4 and 8/4. I started building the mill at the age of 18. Ran part time for a few years. Now I'm full steam ahead. Being probably the youngest sawmill owner in the country at 25 years young. Its been hard to get my company name out there. And compete with well established mills where their name has been out there years. But, I feel the way I do business will lead my company to a good,respectable company in the lumber industry. When we start selling to a company we stick with them. I don't like to split production and jump around. I think thats the key to be a sucsessfull company. Every good order very much appreciated. And I can usually fill everyone I get. I carry an annual inventory of about 150,000 ft. of logs. Our lumber can be sent to you graded. And can also endwax the lumber if reqested.
