Short logs no shorter than 8’8” and 10" tops
No more than 2" of sweep. No center rot
No more than 3 knots in one foot section. One knot no bigger than 4" or cull will be taken
Limbs and knots should be cut flush to the logs
No splits or sun dried logs with checking at the ends.
Sound with no crooks or pistol butt.
