On Site Management Inc (OSM) has been constructing distinguished mountain homes, western ranches and light commercial structures with reclaimed lumber throughout the Northern Rockies for over 30 years. The lumber division of OSM Inc manages an inventory of nearly 1 million board feet of hi-graded lumber salvaged from agricultural and industrial structures; all with original, aged surfaces. This inventory, once reserved for OSM projects exclusively, is now available to the public. Carefully sourced throughout North America, this is a diverse inventory organized into 14 different types of lumber which includes indigenous hardwood and softwood species. Our predominant types of aged lumber include Montana Corral Board, Authentic Hand Hewn Timber, Montana Snow Fence, 2x and 3x Joist/Rafter Stock, and northern White Oak. Our lumber is received, hi-graded, inventoried and ready for selection in a dry Montana climate. OSM maintains the largest, reclaimed lumber inventory of any builder known in North America.
Our meticulous selection process characterizes and separates us from other suppliers, it is methodical and thoughtful. Our process helps clients, architects and designers achieve their vision and provides builders with the highest yield possible on the job site. Custom milling complements our lumber while creating application ready materials. Our two kilns help to stabilize materials before their use.
Written material estimates with or without milling services can be provided on sampled and specified materials.
