Spectacular clear all heart, straight, dry, tight grain OLD GROWTH redwood, 5 1/4 by 2 1/2 inches, in lengths up to 30 feet with intact finger joints (or 6 feet to 18 feet with finger joints separated, many in the upper half of that length range). Salvaged many years ago from a 100-year+ old water tank and carefully stored. Natural patina on the external surfaces. Planes to beautiful surfaces as seen in the photos. The finest architectural grade of redwood. Old growth is superior to newer growth in terms of moisture resistance, insect resistance and maintenance. We have about 4800 board feet.
